We’ve been providing dealership-level car servicing for Ford car owners for many years.
Established in 1947, we pride ourselves on our honest, friendly and professional approach.
We offer a comprehensive service, that’s not only really clear and easy to understand but also convenient:
To book a service for your Ford, give Station Road Garage a call on: 01386 840297.
We’ve worked on many Fords over the years and are an approved, fully registered independent workshop.
Fords are, generally, very reliable and tend to be quite robust. That said we do see problems with the turbo, especially on the Focus.
And the Fiesta, as well as being very popular, has its fair share of problems too, mainly with suspension and its engine.
A full service should be undertaken every two years, but if you’re doing above average mileage, it’s probably worth booking a service once a year.
All our Ford services are carried out in accordance with manufacturers guidelines by highly experienced, skilled technicians.
Yes. If you’re within your warranty period we will carry out a full manufacturer service, which is designed to meet – and even exceed – the standards defined by Ford.
We’ll only fit genuine Ford parts when you’re within warranty, too.
At Station Road Garage, we offer three main types of Ford services:
If your Ford is still in warranty you’ll need a manufacturer service.
All vehicles serviced by us under a manufacturer’s warranty will receive only genuine Ford service parts.
Similar to the manufacturer service, our full service is comprehensive and is tailored to suit your Ford.
All vehicles outside of a manufacturer's warranty will receive the best quality, authentic branded parts.
Also known as an oil service, this is usually carried out in between full services and focuses on the fundamentals.
We use the highest quality lubricants and are registered for electronic "look-up", so your Ford will always receive the correct grade of lubricant during one of our services.
Ford makes some exceptional cars but like most modern vehicles certain common faults can occur.
Fiesta
One of the UK's all time best-selling cars the Fiesta hatchback is fun to drive and relatively fuel-efficient but common problems we deal with include poor rear axle welding, cracked cylinder heads and loss of automatic brake assistance.
Focus
The Fiesta's big brother, the Focus is a mid-size hatchback known for its sporty handling and spacious interior. Frequent faults we see are premature clutch wear, leaking coolant and power steering problems.
Kuga
The Ford Kuga compact SUV offers loads of interior space and a comfortable ride. The main problems Kuga owners come for are with exhaust valves, overheating and its automatic transmission.
Transit Custom
The Ford Transit Custom is one of the most popular vans in the UK and is practical and usually very reliable. Owners of Ford Transit vans come to us with problems with power steering, overheating and the fuel injectors used in its 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engines.
It will take us between two to four hours to do a full service on your Ford, plus additional time needed for any repair work needed.
Please factor in a whole working day of being without your Ford vehicle.
Don’t worry, we have a number of very reliable loan cars, but do book one early as they are very popular.
Please remember to bring your Ford service book with you so we can stamp it.
Also, you must leave your locking wheel nut key out for us too.
Established in 1947 we provide dealership-level car servicing for customers across Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire.
